Southwest Symphony Strings Virtual Concert

String players from the Southwest Symphony and Dr. Mark Jelinek, Artistic Director will be performing three short pieces. The selections are: Allegro in D for Strings  by Antonio Vivaldi; Cavatina by Antonin Dvorak and the first movement of the Telemann Suite by George Telemann.

Each musician recorded the music in their home and electronically sent it to the editor, Tim Breon, in Pennsylvania. Tim edited each recording so the end result is the musicians playing together. He has also edited recordings for Williamsport Symphony.

This virtual concert will be the symphony’s final of a three-concert virtual season. Recordings of this concert and other past Southwest Symphony events will be available to watch on the Southwest Symphony’s YouTube channel. All virtual concerts are free of charge to help bring music to the community.
